Corporate Partner Advisory Group (CPAG) - Be an Architect of the Future
Each Corporate Partner
organization has a seat on the Corporate Partner Advisory Group (CPAG).
The CPAG's mission is to bring industry and government executives together to
exchange information, support professional development, improve communications
and understanding, solve issues, and build partnership and trust, thereby enhancing
AGA's focus on advancing government accountability. The CPAG uses a task force
structure to accomplish its mission. CPAG work can include:
- Preparing studies and analyses of public sector financial management, auditing, budget, program management and technology issues.
- Assisting AGA in identifying professional speakers to deliver presentations at its national conferences.
- Demonstrating, through AGA programs and conferences, private sector services and products that can help government accountability professionals perform their functions more effectively and efficiently.
- Participating in research studies to improve federal financial management.
"The
concept behind the CPAG is to create opportunities to bring industry and government
representatives together to share ideas and foster communications - something that
really doesn't exist out there now." Hank Steninger, CGFM - Grant Thornton LLP
